BITTS International Career College’s Microsoft Power BI short course gives students the ability to utilize and make sense of this powerful data visualization program. Students learn how to connect to multiple data sources, clean and transform data using Power Query, build data models, create calculations using Data Analysis Expressions (DAX), and develop interactive reports and dashboards. The course also covers data visualization best practices, dashboard design, data storytelling, Power BI Service, collaboration, and data security concepts. Through practical exercises, case studies, and a final dashboard project, students develop the knowledge and technical skills required to analyze business data, communicate insights effectively, and support data-driven decision-making in a variety of organizational settings.
